Equity compensation has the potential to be a valuable, life changing benefit for many employees. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case in the startup environment, as any opportunities to convert equity into capital are usually only offered to executives. Unless private companies organize a secondary liquidity event, it’s almost impossible for employees to sell their equity.
Simetria is making things better for both private companies and employees, by allowing companies to manage equity more effectively and helping them to provide employees with sale opportunities that increase the value of their equity holding.
